Location: Long Eaton, East Midlands

Salary: Up to £35,000, DOE, with potential earnings over £40,000 including overtime and callout

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week, including a 1 in 5 on-call rota

Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

Role Overview:

About the Role:

As a Fire and Security Service Engineer at APS Security, you will:

• Complete maintenance and remedial works on a range of systems, including Advanced & Kentec fire systems, Galaxy & Pyronix intruder alarms, Hikvision CCTV, and Paxton access control systems.
• Ensure all installations meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service, fostering trust and reliability with our clients.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard in every project.
• Be part of an on-call rota (1 in 5) to address any urgent client needs.

About You:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer, or a willingness to gain additional skills if needed.
• Location: Based within the East Midlands, enabling easy travel to client sites.
• Skills: Confident in troubleshooting and problem-solving across multiple systems, with a keen attention to detail.
• Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
• Team-Oriented: Able to work independently yet thrive within a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
