A shout out to APS’s rising stars!

As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, it’s with great pride that we shine a spotlight on the invaluable contributions of our apprentices here at APS.

Meet Our Apprentices:

  1. Joe Salmon – Engineer: “It is a great job opportunity as APS is part of this group, giving me in-depth knowledge of compliance. Also, it’s better than working at McDonald’s. I really enjoy working with the people in the business and the customers they service.”
  2. Kieran Eaton – Engineer: “Every day is different with a different challenge. All the engineers are very supportive and helpful in teaching me all they know. Being on a designated training plan with skills for security is securing me a good solid future.”
  3. Ellie Allen – Admin: “The work environment and team members are all supportive and nice; they all help with my assignment when I need it and give constructive advice to improve my skills.”

At APS, we believe in nurturing talent and providing a conducive environment for learning and development. Our apprentices aren’t just learners; they’re integral members of our team, contributing fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to every project they undertake. Whether it’s learning the intricacies of compliance or mastering the skills necessary for security, our apprentices are guided by experienced mentors who are committed to their success.

What sets APS apart is not just our expertise in Fire, Security, and Life Safety services, but also our culture of support and collaboration. From the engineers on the field to the administrative staff behind the scenes, every member of the APS family plays a crucial role in our collective success. Our apprentices, in particular, attest to the supportive environment and the camaraderie that defines our workplace culture. Jenny Mair, APS Director said “From our newest team members to our longest-standing, every single member of our team feels like a family and that runs down through Director-level to those making their first steps on the career ladder.”

As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, our commitment to empowering the next generation of industry leaders continues. Through hands-on experience, personalised mentorship, and a dedication to continuous learning, we equip our apprentices with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the dynamic landscape of Fire, Security, and Life Safety services.
